Certification Process

1. Foundations of Equine-Assisted Learning

• Introduction to the Pegasus Approach™ principles
• The role of self-efficacy, transformational learning, and trauma-informed care
• Understanding how horses facilitate personal growth

2. Equine Communication & Facilitation Skills

• Horse behavior, herd dynamics, and body language
• Understanding horses 101: how horses use their bodies to communicate
• Leadership and safety: how horses seek and establish leadership
